Public activities here, Mata Redonda district is incredible!

In this post I want to write about public activities and how my family support the district of Mata Redonda and San José canton. In my case, my family support the services provided by my district by paying all the taxes and fees at time. Something that I want to mention is that any of us can help in our district even with small things like grabbing a garbage that you find in the floor, respecting the schedules in which they provide some services and paying your taxes at time. This type of actions can really help to the district!

Before the pandemic the district really had many activities that people could do as a family, some examples are: Kayaking on the lake, having a family time, doing picnics with our friends or even having a tour in the Costa Rican Art Museum. This activities are just a few that we can do, there are many of them that we can enjoy in family. Before pandemic we liked to go to the public activities that the district make but for covid we stopped going because we were worried for our health and our relatives heath’s too. Covid really affected my district by many things. Here is an example of how Covid-19 affected in my district: in Christmas they usually they built a Christmas tree in the Metropolitan park, it was really pretty and many people come to the Metropolitan park just to see the Christmas tree but for the pandemic they didn’t built it in 2020. Another example is that in 2020 for the pandemic they didn’t allow the use of the stadium due to the crowds, and many things like football games or concerts stopped or were canceled. Many people stopped coming often or having time with their family in the district.
